Community Science Meet-up in LaSalle

Join us this September for a community science day at Turkey Creek. We’ll visit two to three sites along the creek to collect monthly water quality data, measuring factors like temperature, pH, dissolved oxygen, and conductivity, and look for species of interest that function as ecological indicators of river and stream health.

This event is a great way to spend time outdoors, meet people, learn about local ecology, and contribute to protecting the health of our waterways. No prior experience is required. All equipment and training will be provided.
