Community Science Meet-up in River Canard

Meet at the parking lot of the Vollmer recreation complex in LaSalle.

Join us for an evening of hands-on environmental experience along the scenic River Canard, one of Windsor-Essex’s most beautiful natural corridors. In this event, we’ll visit two to three key sites along the river to collect monthly water quality data, testing for indicators like temperature, pH, conductivity, and dissolved oxygen, to help track the health of this unique ecosystem. We will also be on the lookout for species of interest while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of this ecologically rich area.

This is a great opportunity to connect with nature, learn scientific monitoring techniques, and make a real contribution to protecting our waterways. No prior experience is necessary, and all equipment and training will be provided. Everyone is welcome!
